For those following my fic, the Gibsellent Diaries, I'm very sorry for the hold-up with the first chapter. I've been busy with working out the kinks in the story, Japanese homework, and procrastination. I'm unable to do anything on my Tuesdays and Thursdays due to my Japanese lessons, so it's hard for me to work on it. Needless to say, I'll be getting it up as soon as I possibly can, either later tomorrow, or the next day, or as soon as I can find time after that.

In other GD-related news, I'm thinking of having it split up into different "Books" and "Acts" within the Books. This is mostly to avoid confusion on FF.net and to better organize the story. Any thoughts?

Anyway. If you'll excuse me I have to make it look like I've done some meager measure of my Japanese homework so that my mother isn't suspicious tomorrow morning. D;

DM Doodle Sketchdump Pt. 1

Listening to: "Princess of Egypt" by E-Type

Mood: Tired, neck sore. Feeling like doing something.

Here, have some doodles for your time.

Some Duel Masters-related doodles that I've done in the last couple of months. The ones on lined paper are from school, and the three that aren't were done at home and are newer to boot. You can tell, since they look nicer and are inked and shit stuff. ;D *needs to stop cursing*

Anyway. First up is poor Xanadu-sama. She came all the way from my folded-up doodles to this page, had her text cut off, and doesn't even have the voice to yell at me about it. Anyway. The Japanese in the word bubble originally said, "ホワイトさま, なんですか?" ("White-sama, what is it?" It makes little sense because he's neither a "White" or a "-sama" to her with her mask down like this, as in SX) Why? I don't know...

... Wait, no, I guess I know why. He was there, I suppose. What does he have to say? "オレはホワイトだぜ!!" ("I told you, I'm White!!" Which he says a lot in the anime) Very intelligent... Who's next?

Who else is there? Why, it's Shobu and Mimi! With... cards? (I think there's a fullview feature, but it's a pretty big file, so I don't know if I'd recommend it) Anyway. What does anyone else have to say?

Why, it's poor, depressed-looking Rekuta-kun! Why is he depressed? Well, he's lovesick, of course. Poor thing. He's short, can't play cardgames, and wears glasses to boot. (I'm two of those things as well, so don't worry, Rekuta-kun~) I wonder who he's got a crush on...

Mimi-kun?!? D8 Well, now I can see why he's upset! She's been sleeping with everyone in town, including freaking Shobu for crying out loud, who'd wanna date him? (Just kidding, Shou-chan's plenty attractive XD)

Oh, no, Mimi, I didn't mean to call you a whore anything bad, I just think that-- *Punch'd into a wall* "That'll teach you to talk about me!!" (Really, I just think Mimi would be the type to not keep a guy for too long, but certainly not to be promiscuous, oh no~)

... Ugh... Where am I? Oh, right, making stupid comments about completely-unrelated bunch of doodles. Who's next? ... 白凰さま~~! *COUGH* Yes. Right. The really badly written characters about the doodle read "白ちゃん *heart*" ("Haku-chan", which is what Dr. Root calls him). He's here to talk some sense into Mimi-kun! "Mimi-kun, Considering you've slept with everybody else in town, what's the deal with sleeping with Rekuta-kun?" "... What?" Mimi woke up the next day to find Hakuoh has drugged her with roofies and made her sleep with Rekuta. I guess he had a grudge against her for some reason... wait. Maybe it was for sleeping with Shobu!! D8

*COUGH* Anyway, who else is here? Ah, yes, Miss Alice Gehabich. (On the right, with Hakuoh on the left. Same goes for the picture on the bottom) How are you M'Lady Alice? "AGHHHH!!" ... Um. Okay. That's nice. How about you, Haku-chan? "NOOOOO!" ... What are you two screaming about? "MIMI! SHE WANTS TO KILL US!" Oh... That's a good reason to run. *Runs like mad* (Alice is from Bakugan Battle Brawlers, but she and Hakuoh are friendly towards each other in my fic. This doodle is a bit out-of-character, since they don't like each other that much, but oh well. It was fun to draw, at least! :D)

*pant* Whew... hopefully I got away from her. Well, then, that's about it for this series of doodles today--

"-- Hey, wait!"

What? Oh, it's Amachi-kun! Sorry about that. Anything I can do to make it up?

"NO!!" Oh, okay then. See ya. *runs off before she gets shot by a creature*

Starting fresh.

Well, that's it. I'm starting anew. This blog wasn't meant for much before, but either way, I've deleted all the other posts and decided to start afresh with a new perspective.

This blog will now be used for the following:

• Serious things and discussions about things I want honest opinions from others about. I hate politics, so these will be kept to more (or perhaps less?) abstract concepts. These will probably end up being more of writing exercises for me, and even then I try to make them somewhat interesting.
• Poetic ramblings; not necessarily poems (because I'm horrible at poems), but poetic prose. In other words, short clips of prose with lots and lots of pretty words in between.
• The occasional review. I'd rather do these in video format, but I'm not quite experienced with that medium yet, so I'll have to suffice with text for now.
• Ramblings, updates, or even chapters regarding my fanfiction works (I write only fanfiction that is meant to be read as a source of entertainment, not pity, as I see a lot of works being written for these days...) and other original writing/comic projects I might be working on.
• Art. Be it fanart, a request/collab/etc., or something original, I might just post some art I want to show off to you people. Assuming, of course, that actual people end up reading this thing, which I'm not quite sure about yet..

And, of course, there's the occasional random post that seems to be about absolutely nothing but then ends up being some form of writing practice... i.e., what I'm writing right now. ^^ I'm practicing sounding all formal and crap.

Really, am I little miss formal all the time? Not always, but it's always good to crack your knuckles every once in a while and flex them writing skillz (avec une zed). Speaking of which... *crick, crack* ... Much better~ :3 (I'll make an attempt to put my smiley-using habits to a minimum in my senseless ramblings here, although I'm not sure how long that'll last every time...)

Anyway. This post is terribly boring, but I suppose it's informing in some way, no? Now. Since that's all done and over with and whatnot, allow me to further introduce myself.

On deviantART, I am kittypopchow601 (formerly ruinedshadows and hanathemongoose, but the accounts "merged". Really, I was sick of playing two personas and wanted to slowly ease out of the fake one, although the transition of course wasn't anywhere near as smooth as I wanted it to be... anyway, I have little connection left to those two previous accounts now, so there's little need to worry about them.)

On YouTube, I am ruinedshadows (there aren't too many videos on there, and really none of them are worth checking out... except for maybe that one Fullmetal Alchemist MMV that plays automatically, and perhaps a quite glance through my menacingly huge favorites, just to see what I'm up to lately. To put it in perspective for anyone not reading this post at some time close to my posting it, I was starting to get into .hack//SIGN at the time, so I favorited the opening and the first episode just as a log of sorts. From there, you can probably judge roughly how many videos I fave over a given amount of time. Yep... I'm pretty much a fave-o-holic. ^^; Sorry...)

On fanfiction.net, I am ruinedshadows (I don't update it too often... at ALL. The last thing I posted on there was a silly little FMA yaoi fanfic about Kimbley and Greed!Ling. OTL. Safe to say my writing has greatly changed since then. Not that I don't like yaoi, I just don't write romance because I honestly find it to be completely pointless. >>)

Damn do I miss livejournal. Now I can't bug you with my insane taste in music. :,( Right now I'm listening to my awesome Kerli music that you don't know about because you're just so damned culturally OBLIVIOUS. No really, Kerli is awesome and all, but if you don't like her, you don't have to, I won't force you nice people~

Anyway. That's about as much rambling as I can do for tonight (today? I don't know.) Let's meet again sometime. はじめまして and all that jazz, good night, and LOVE AND PEACE! 8D
